Professional Driver Pay & Key Benefits

                                                                                

2007 average company driver annual salary was $45,000!

Driver Pay Scale

Company Solo Drivers - Starting pay 28 ¢ per mile base pay and 7¢ per diem plus the opportunity to earn an additional 2¢ per mile through a Bonus program. Annual increase of 1¢ per mile for 3 years on base pay.

Passenger Program - minimum age 12 years old. Cost is $10.00 per month.

Quarterly Bonus for Company Drivers - After 90 days

  • An additional 2 cents per mile can be obtained by qualifying for a quarterly bonus. Drivers must  run a minimum of 30,000 miles for the quarter to be eligible.

  • No preventable accidents, moving violation tickets or citations or Work Comp claims.
  • No (0) missing logs.
  • Submit all Drivers Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports and Maintenance Records.
  • Timely logs – Drivers must submit or forward by mail the original log to Concord Safety Dept. within 13 days following completion of the form.
  • No log falsifications or hours of service violations.
  • Any log book tickets or warnings disqualify the driver.
  • Fuel Solutions Compliance must be at 75% or better for the quarter.
  • Failure to report an accident, turn in a DOT inspection sheet or notify safety of a citation or  ticket of any kind in any vehicle with in 48 hours.

Medical and Dental Insurance

Health Plan Benefits includes two options to choose from.

Option #1 is a Traditional Plan that includes office visit co-pays, Rx card co-pays and insurance that will cover 80% of other expenses after deductible is met.

  • $25 physician co-pay, $3500 deductible, max out of pocket $7000, Rx card $10/35/60 co-pays.

Option # 2 is also a traditional plan that includes office visit co-pays, Rx card co-pays and insurance that will cover 80% of other expenses after deductible is met.

  • $25 physician co-pay, $3500 deductible, max out of pocket $7000, Rx card $10/35/60 co-pays.

Dental Coverage through Relianceprovides twice a year cleaning and x-ray at 100%. There is a $50/$150 deductible per year per person for other normal work then the insurance covers at 80%. Major work such as crowns or partials is covered at 50% after the deductible is met with an annual maximum of $1,000 per person per calendar year.

Life Insurance Drivers are provided with $20,000 life insurance included with the Medical/Dental coverage at no extra cost.  Additional coverage may be purchased from $10,000 to $50,000. Premiums for voluntary additional coverage are based on age.
