C.A.T. is now hiring Owner Operators out of the Carolinas!

Rely on us for consistent miles with an average length of haul over 900 miles, steady freight volumes, substantial discounts, accurate weekly settlements and more — but with the flexibility to run your own business. C.A.T. extends many partnership advantages, such as:

           Permits provided. Plates are bought for you and charged back

           Qualcomm no charge

           $10.00 surcharge for crossing the border on loads less than 500 miles

  • ·  Lucrative fuel surcharge paid on loaded miles

  •    Average length of haul 800 miles

             Less than 10% dead head on average fleet wide

  • ·  Fuel surcharge adjusted weekly, in keeping with average fuel costs based on D.O.E.

  • ·  Discounted fuel at hundreds of fuel stops when you follow the fuel solution; you buy fuel at our price and the cost is deducted from your weekly settlement ·  

  • ·  Discounts on tires through our nationwide vendor-network

  • ·  Maintenance escrow

Mileage Pay

OTR contractors will receive a rate of pay of ¢.95 per mile for all miles loaded and ¢.90 per mile empty, plus the fuel surcharge on loaded miles.

 Tractor Specifications

  1999 or newer year-model tractor

  Weight of truck, including driver and fuel, under 20,000 pounds

  Fifth wheel measurement of 47-1/2" or less

  Pass annual DOT inspection

  Pass quarterly company inspection

  Items to bring to orientation

  Copy of title, front & back (your name must be listed)

  Current 2290, paid

  Current registration ("cab card")

  Bill of sale or finance agreement

  Voided personal check or deposit slip for direct deposit settlement

  Current DOT medical card (a new physical will be provided by C.A.T.)

  Social security card and valid Class A CDL

  Passport or passport card

  Personal items and funds to cover expenses during orientation and first 2 weeks on
